Land for Ardee City substation rejected

GURUGRAM: Ardee City’s continual power woes are unlikely to be resolved soon. The land recognized by way of the developer for the construction of a proposed sub-station has been rejected by way of each the department of the town and nation making plans (DTCP) and discom DHBVN.

While DHBVN claims the land isn't possible for the construction of an influence substation, DTCP says the plot isn't part of the licensed space of the Sector 51 township. DTCP has even issued a notice to the developer, asking it to spot new land and submit main points.


Spread across 125 acres of land with over 2,800 residences, Ardee City used to be advanced in 2002. But its 20,000-odd citizens are nonetheless waiting for execution of the conveyance deed and gear infrastructure. Last year, CM Manohar Lal Khattar visited the township and confident to unravel the problem on the earliest. “Despite assurance from the CM, the developer just isn't inquisitive about establishing an influence sub-station,” said Praveen Yadav, president of RWA.


Yadav said the colony got licence in 1998 or even after 20 years developer had failed to finish the work.After a seres of complaints, the developer recognized a site for building of a 33kV sub-station. Officials of DHBVN inspected the site on February 10, 2018, however they found the land flawed from the civil and electric standpoint and rejected it.


District the town planer (DTP) RS Batth said, “It has been made transparent that the site offered by way of the developer isn't appropriate for the improvement of an influence sub-station.” However, Anil Hasija of Gopal Dass Estate and Housing Pvt Ltd, the developer of Ardee City, said the land is under their ownership. “DHBVN has sanctioned 33kV substation and we now have deposited the bank guaranty for a similar. We are waiting for the permission from the department to start out building work.”
