MANDYA: In a curious incident, a 58-year-old woman used to be robbed of her ‘Mangalya’, worth Rs 1.2 lakh by a duo on Thursday. Ningamma, 58, a resident of Harohalli in Mandya, used to be lured to a abandoned spot close to the Makaleshwari temple by a lady who promised to split the money from a purse she discovered at the highway, the place she used to be robbed of her Mangalya.

It started when Ningamma went to the Pandavapura Market, the place she used to be purchasing lemons. She used to be then approached by a young woman, who knowledgeable her that she knew some other store the place the lemons were higher, and promised to take her there. When the duo started to stroll, the younger woman picked up a purse mendacity at the highway, and told Ningamma that there used to be an enormous amount of money in it, suggesting that they divide it amongst themselves.
