CBSE papers leak: Police arrest 2 teachers and coaching centre owner

NEW DELHI: Delhi Police has arrested a coaching centre proprietor and two academics on suspicion of their involvement in circulating the leaked CBSE query papers on WhatsApp teams.

The two accused academics paintings at a non-public school in Delhi and have been recognized as Rishabh and Rohit. The 3rd is a coaching center tutor who has been recognized as Tauqeer.

The academics have revealed that the paper was leaked at 9am in printed shape on the day of exam, a top officer confirmed.

Special commissioner R P Upadhyay and joint commissioner Alok Kumar confirmed the arrests to TOI.

The accused might be produced in court on Sunday afternoon and brought on police remand for interrogation.

More than 60 other people, including 53 students and 7 academics had been questioned until now.
