BHUBANESWAR: In the wake of widespread accidents at Dhauli Hills, the state government has decided to restrict plying of tourist buses to the hilltop. On the opposite hand six mini-buses will probably be run via the tourism division to select and drop vacationers at the hill top. This initiative aimed toward lowering site visitors congestion and limiting the motion of heavy automobiles.

“Dhauli Peace pagoda is among the prominent tourist attractions of the city. But the street to the hill top resulting in the Buddhist Monastry is a stiff and perilous ride, particularly for heavy automobiles. So we decided to ply six 26-seater buses will continuously select and drop vacationers to the hill top from the tourist complex downhill,” said director tourism, Nitin Jawale. The fleet of buses will probably be inaugurated via tourism minister Ashok Chandra Panda on Sunday at the instance of Utkal Divas, he said.
