TIRUPUR: A 14-year-old boy has drowned in a neatly in the town on Monday when he was once taking bath.
The deceased was once identified as C Mathivanan, of Muthu Nagar. A Class VIII pupil of the Chikkanna Chettiya government upper secondary college at Palayakadu in the town, Mathivanan and his friends had long gone to take bath in a neatly at NRK Puram on Monday, police said.
But he by chance drowned in the neatly. His friends attempted to save lots of him, however in useless. When alerted, fire and rescue products and services group reached the spot and recovered his body.
North police have registered a case in this connection and conduct additional investigations are on.tnn
