BENGALURU: A 21-year-old mechanic hired at the Aircraft Research and Design Centre (ARDC), a wing of defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), allegedly stabbed his awesome again and again at the HAL headquarters over a pay dispute on Wednesday. The youth used to be in the end overpowered via his colleagues and passed over to the police.
HAL police officers said Mahendran L,41, a resident of B Narayanapura and head of a group at the mechanical unit of ARDC, used to be stabbed in the abdomen and on his left hand and neck via Solomon Sebastian Raj, a resident of Gouthampura, Ulsoor, east Bengaluru. Colleagues rushed Mahendran to the within reach Sakra World Hospital in Marathahalli where he is said to be out of risk. The accused and victim have been hired on a freelance basis.
Gopal Sutar, HAL spokesperson, advised TOI: “The contractor used to be stabbed at the HAL premises via his employed worker with some device to be had to hand. We are not positive what the problem used to be between the two. The man who sustained accidents used to be rushed to HAL clinic immediately and due to this fact shifted to a super-speciality clinic. He is reportedly out of risk, and HAL has reported the matter to the police who're investigating the case.”
However, police had a special take at the incident, which befell at 1pm on Wednesday. They said Raj confessed that he stabbed Mahendran with a knife which he had on his individual for withholding 15 days of his salary for no reason. Raj allegedly had intended to kill Mahendran, police said.
Angry over withholding his salary, Raj went up to Mahendran and demanded to understand why, police said. It resulted in a heated argument between the two. In a are compatible of rage,Raj allegedly took out a knife from his right pant pocket and stabbed Mahendran 3 times. Mahendran screamed in ache and concern and that alerted his colleagues who rushed to his support. While some caught cling of Raj and snatched the knife from his hand,the others briefly took Mahendran to clinic.
“We have taken Raj into custody. Based at the remark of the victim, we've got registered a case of try to murder in opposition to Raj.”
