CHANDIGARH: Recovery of 2 bodies inside an opening of sooner or later from the Hansi canal has created rather a stir in Safidon the town of Jind district. According to the local police, bodies of a tender man and woman had been discovered floating on the surface of the canal near Safidon on Sunday and Monday. Police are yet to identify the bodies.
With the fingers tied at back, body of the person was discovered on Sunday evening. Body of the girl was additionally discovered from the same area on Monday morning. Police have no idea if the 2 cases are related.
“As of now we can not link the bodies with each other. We have despatched both bodies for autopsy. Following postmortem, the bodies will be stored within the morgue for 2 days for the purpose of identification,” mentioned Safidon deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Sunil Kumar.
