MUMBAI: A lady corporator was just lately stalked by a grain dealer after she objected to feed being sold for pigeons on Juhu seashore.
Renu Hansraj mentioned residents of societies adjoining to the seashore had complained of health issues, led to by hen droppings, after huge flocks of pigeons started feeding on grain on the seashore. Pigeon droppings are damaging and have worsened breathing diseases of residents living adjoining to the present feeding site,” Hansraj mentioned.
On May four, she went to the seashore round 6am to check on the scenario.
“I was advised the seller was making up to Rs 10,000 an afternoon selling hen feed. One of the morning walkers entered into a controversy with the seller over his site of commercial. I intervened to dealer peace as there have been many others out for a walk and I did not need someone to get disturbed. Around 7.15am, whilst I was headed house on foot, I noticed the seller following me on his two-wheeler close to Hotel JW Marriott. He mentioned he sought after to talk to me.
