ALLAHABAD: The CBI on Wednesday submitted its development document within the Unnao rape case to the Allahabad high court and sought switch of the case from Unnao to Lucknow. The document used to be submitted to the court in a sealed envelope.
Acting on the CBI plea, the HC issued notices to all the accused individuals, together with BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar. CBI officials, who have been present within the court, stated they'd take steps to switch all the accused from Unnao to Lucknow prison and would further investigate the subject.
After taking the CBI document on record, a division bench comprising chief justice Dilip Babasaheb Bhosale and justice Suneet Kumar mounted May 21 as the next date of listening to.
