NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert forecasting that a number of portions of north India together with Delhi may just witness thunderstorm and squall on Tuesday with winds gusting as much as 50-70 kilometers according to hour.
The Delhi executive has issued a list of "dos and don'ts" to deal with this type of possible scenario.
In the record of "dos and don'ts" , the federal government has instructed voters to try to stay indoors and staff off verandas and stay an eye on local weather updates and warnings.
The executive also asked other folks to ensure that kids and animals are inside and unplug pointless electric appliances.
The advisory also asked voters to keep away from taking a bath or shower or working water for any goal.
"This is because lightning can travel along pipes. Keep away from doors, windows, fire places, stoves, bath-tubs, or any other electrical charge conductors," the advisory said.
