COIMBATORE: In an effort to handle the proceedings from rail passengers about fleecing of parking lot contractors at the city railway station, government are planning to begin work to arrange an digital parking system from lately. Rs four.75lakh has been allotted for the venture, an official said.
The parking lot, that will accommodate 15 cars, may have the doorway near the publish place of business. The entrance will break up into two - one for parking cars and the opposite for cars that drop passengers and leave the station.
“Due to house constraints, we are bobbing up with a separate bay the place taxis, auto rickshaws and cars can input and drop passengers,” said a senior railway official. Another four bays will probably be arrange exclusively for VIPs and differently-abled passengers, he added.
