HYDERABAD: Protesting against the dismissal of over 400 homeguards, a person on Monday climbed a hoarding at Khairatabad in Hyderabad. He threatened to end his life however was once later persuaded by way of the police to come down after hours of convincing.
Homeguards are protesting against their dismissal, after striking years of products and services in erstwhile AP. After separating from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana government suspended their products and services. The homegurds pleaded to take them again, however to no avail. They along with their families started protesting at Khairatanad flyover after not getting any reaction from the federal government. This created a near chaos like situation on the spot with visitors totally at standstill at Punjagutta go roads.
