HYDERABAD: Asif Nagar police arrested a 23-year-old Madrasa teacher for sexually assaulting six boys on the institution premises.
The accused is, Rehman Ansari, 23, a local of Bihar. In June 2017, Ansari joined a madrasa at Zeba Bagh in Asif Nagar as an instructor. Ansari used to stay within the room provided to him on the madrasa and teach the scholars.
There are 25 scholars enrolled within the madrasa and 22 of them have been these days attending the classes, Asif Nagar ACP Okay Ashok Chakravarthy mentioned. Out of the 22 scholars, 18 are from Bihar and the remainder are from Hyderabad. All the scholars are elderly between 8 and 11 years.
Except for two native scholars, remainder of the scholars had been staying on the madrasa and pursuing the training.
The incident of sexual attack came to light on April 29 when an eight-year-old boy went to his space and advised his father about Ansari raping him on the Madrasa.
The victim’s father who's a businessman, right away went to madrasa and confronted Ansari. When he claimed innocence, the victim’s father spoke to other boys who have been residential scholars and two of them came ahead announcing that Ansari had sexually assaulted them.
The victim’s father lodged a criticism with the Asif Nagar police towards Ansari and a case was once registered towards the instructor who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education under section 377 (unnatural offences) of the IPC, sections five and six of the POCSO Act.
Police then despatched the victim to Bharosa centre for counselling. The other scholars on the Madrasa have been also counselled through execs on the Bharosa centre and their statements have been recorded. We came upon that Ansari has sexually assaulted six boys throughout the previous two months, the ACP mentioned. Ansari assaulted most of the boys in his room on the Madrasa.
A medical exam was once carried out on the victims and the accused was once remanded in judicial custody on Wednesday. Other instructors are engaging in classes on the Madrasa and the families of the non native boys have been knowledgeable in regards to the incident.
