Mayawati vacates one bungalow, BSP retains another

LUCKNOW: BSP supremo Mayawati has vacated a central authority house in Lucknow, claiming compliance with a Supreme Court order, while keeping directly to a 2nd legit bungalow which her birthday celebration says is a memorial to Kanshi Ram.
The UP executive not too long ago sent notices to 6 politicians after Supreme Court ordered that they will have to shift out of the legit lodging allotted to them as former leader ministers of Uttar Pradesh.

Mayawati's private secretary said today that she has now vacated 6, Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg which was allotted to her as a former leader minister.

But the UP executive had sent her a realize asking her to vacate any other bungalow, 13A, Mall Avenue, which the birthday celebration says is a memorial to BSP founder Kashi Ram.

The BSP not too long ago said Mayawati occupied simply two rooms of the "Shri Kanshi Ram Ji Yadgar Vishram Sthal".

The birthday celebration had indicated that Mayawati was willing to vacate the bungalow on Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg if a realize was served.

Following the Supreme Court order, the UP executive on May 17 issued notices to Narayan Dutt Tiwari, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Kalyan Singh, Mayawati, Rajnath Singh and Akhilesh Yadav to vacate the bungalows.


While Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh indicated their willingness to take action, the others have expressed reluctance.

Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh Yadav have written to the Estate Department searching for two more years at their legit residences and feature moved the apex court in this.
