HYDERABAD: In a move to beef up last-mile connectivity, the Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL), on Wednesday, inaugurated three new motorbike stations at Nagole, Parade Ground and Begumpet stations. Commuters alighting at any of these points can now hire a motorcycle for a meagre Rs 4 in line with kilometre to travel to and from their locations.
Earlier this year, the first such ‘Rent a Bike’ station was arrange at Miyapur — a collaborative project of HMRL and a non-public agency — with 20 motorcycles to be had for hire. With three new stations being added to the list, the full rely of motorcycles across stations has now touched 60.
