Monthly theatre festival starts with a bang

The first night of per 30 days theatre competition Natyadhara at Bhanjakala Mandap noticed a play via Sataabdiraa Kalakara. The play Machha Kaandanaara Swar kept the target audience hooked to the stage court cases. Written via Rati Ranjan Mishra and directed via Dhira Mallick, the story talks about the valour of Bhuyan tribal other people of the then Keunjhar kingdom, who had rebelled in opposition to their king however were defeated via the ruler who sought lend a hand from British. The story also talks about the first Odia story creator Fakir Mohan Senapati, who was a supervisor of the king. The play depicts a pre-independent image of Odisha, mostly within the tribal-dominated Kendujhar area.
