A Noida team, Poets of Noida, organised its first open mic at a town lodge on Saturday. More than 50 poets from NCR and nearby states participated in the match and recited their poems in English, Hindi and Urdu. Ravi Vishwakarma, the founding father of the crowd, stated, "The idea behind this event is to present Noida as a platform for creative minds to express their feelings and emotions through poetry. Noida is a beautiful city where people from across the world come together to explore different career opportunities, so it is important to break the stereotype associated with the city by hosting activities like open mic and poetry recital sessions. People from different walks of life participated in the event, including several IT professionals and Delhi University students."
