NOIDA: An engineering pupil was arrested by Noida police after he posed as a Dadri MLA to get his friend's seized motorcycle released from the custody of the police.
Earlier this week, a pupil of Greater Noida's Galgotia College known as the police posing as Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar and demanded that the seized motorcycle be straight away released. The telephone call was won by town SP. However, the officer was not satisfied by the claims of the caller and determined to research the matter.
On Truecaller app, the mobile quantity seemed below Nagar's title and had a photograph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The officer contacted the MLA who denied making this sort of call. Immediately, a grievance was registered in town's Sector 20 police station by the MLA's son. Following the grievance, the coed was taken into custody.
According, to police the coed is from Nagpur and resides along with his pals in Greater Noida Beta-1. He is a pupil of Galgotia College.
On questioning, the coed printed that he had promised his friend to get his impounded motorcycle released.
The pupil was released after MLA refused to take action against the coed. The accused approved his mistake and also ensured he'll not repeat it.
