NEW DELHI: On May 13, Mother’s Day, Delhi zoo will open a room for mothers to breastfeed their children, months after a loose pram carrier was once introduced to encourage extra women to deliver their young ones there.
Renu Singh, Delhi zoo’s first feminine director, said that the theory was once conceptualised closing month protecting in thoughts the issues confronted through women who came to the zoo with infants. “We will dedicate the room to all mothers on Mother’s Day. After this, our focal point will be at the visitors’ centre the place they are going to have all basic facilities to sit down and wait,” she added.
