JOHANNESBURG: A nine-year-old Indian-origin woman was on Tuesday killed in a botched automobile hijacking, resulting in offended protests by the neighborhood contributors in the Indian township of Chatsworth in Durban.
The woman, Sadia Sukhraj, was on her strategy to school together with her father when three armed men allegedly accosted and hijacked the auto she was in and sped away together with her.

In an ensuing chase during which the hijackers and neighborhood contributors shot at every other, the hijackers crashed the auto they had been in. The woman was discovered shot and significantly injured while one of the crucial hijackers tumbled out of the auto useless.

She was rushed to a clinic however succumbed to her serious accidents.

A 2nd hijacker was arrested by an off-duty policeman, while the 3rd one escaped.

Police and neighborhood leaders have appealed for calm amid fears that the protests would escalate the next day to come as the distraught family ready for the funeral.
