HYDERABAD: Heavy rainfall coupled with strong winds lashed town on Thursday afternoon bringing down the maximum temperature to 21.nine levels Celsius. The much-needed pre-monsoon showers introduced respite to the citizens of Hyderabad from the scorching heat.
Two people, together with a boy died, whilst many were injured in separate rain-related incidents in the town and its outskirts. Gusty winds uprooted trees and snapped power supply to many areas in the town.
The daylight temperature, which was hovering at 40.five levels Celsius till afternoon, plummeted to a pleasing 21.nine levels Celsius by way of five.30 pm, however heavy showers flooded streets and taken traffic to a halt on some arterial roads.
A seven-year-old boy, I Akhil of Karmanghat, died after when lightning struck the realm. In some other incident, a 48-year-old guy Parshuram, died in a wall cave in at Rajendranagar. Two individuals suffered accidents in the incident.
