Rowdy killed; head found 100m away next morning

BENGALURU: Gangamma Gudi police are investigating the murder of a 34-year-old rowdy, who is believed to be killed close to Jallahalli of their jurisdiction on Thursday midnight.

Police found the headless body of the man late on Thursday and the severed head after a night-long seek on Friday. The victim used to be recognized as David, a former ambulance driver from Doddabommasandra.

Passersby stumbled on the body around midnight and alerted cops. The head used to be found around 6am on Friday at the back of a central authority college, about 100 metres from where the place the body used to be found.


David He used to be booked in over 20 instances together with theft, dacoity and try to murder.


Police suspect he used to be killed following a struggle over a girl. “A bachelor, David had a female friend, but she used to be noticed roaming around with Prasad, David’s good friend,” police stated. “Around 20 days again, David and Prasad had fought over the problem.”


Probe revealed David, Prasad and every other good friend had partied close to a box in Ramachandrapura. “Witnesses stated they were consuming when the struggle broke out. They couldn’t see extra as it all started to rain,” police stated.
