SILCHAR: Security forces have reportedly found out a secret tunnel connecting India and Bangladesh in Madanpur locality of Karimganj district. A few metres clear of BSF's Madanpur border outpost, the tunnel runs thru thick forests.
SP (Karimganj) Gaurav Upadhay said the tunnel was once found out right through a raid towards Bangladeshi farm animals thieves earlier this week. Two farm animals thieves who're lately being interrogated led police to the tunnel, he added.
Karimganj district has a 92 km border with the neighbouring nation.
