BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) on Wednesday sacked 3 group of workers members of a Keonjhar-Kolkata bus for allegedly forcing passengers to have dinner at a shady dhaba at the outskirts of Keonjhar on March 23.
"We have permanently removed two drivers - Rasananda Mohanta and Limita Mohanta - and a conductor, Nilamani Upadhyay, from service. Action was taken against them for carelessness and negligence of duty," a senior OSRTC officer mentioned.
On April 26, TOI reported that an inquiry have been introduced towards the bus group of workers. The probe started after a Kolkata-based girl, who used to be travelling at the bus, emailed the shipping division with a criticism.
