Dharwad: The state executive is significantly considering stalling/withdrawing grants to personal aided schools and PU faculties which have deficient passing proportion in SSLC and PUC exam for five years in a row.
Principal Secretary (Primary and Secondary Education) Shalini Rajneesh has written to all district DDPIs to prepare an inventory of private aided schools and PU faculties which have registered a passing proportion beneath the district’s moderate for five consecutive years and send it to the federal government.
The letter warns that the DDPIs who don't no longer conform to the instruction will probably be held accountable for the lapse.
The letter comes after a personal aided faculty in Bengaluru Rural district filed a case in a court wondering the DDPI’s transfer to prevent grant to the college for its SSLC go proportion being lower than the district’s moderate. The faculty requested why it was once by myself targeted and why no motion was once being taken against other schools appearing poorly.
BJP MLC S V Sankanur condemned the federal government’s transfer and said the federal government was once acting in an unscientific and inhuman way through misusing the ability accorded to it underneath phase 53 of Karnataka Education Act 1983. The Act empowers the federal government to prevent/ withdraw the grant-in-aid.
In a letter to the Principal Secretary (Primary and Secondary Education), Sankanur has prompt the federal government not to prevent/withdraw grants to the colleges and faculties and cancel the rule framed to that effect.
He has also warned that teachers, non-teaching body of workers and the managing committees of private aided schools and PU Colleges will release a statewide agitation if the federal government went ahead with its plan to prevent grants.
