Whirlwind blows away toddler in TN village

DHARMAPURI: An 11-month-old child girl, who was once slumbering in a cradle in her house close to Karimangalam in Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu, died after being blown away by way of a whirlwind on Wednesday night time.
The infant has been recognized as Okay Vaishnavi, daughter of Kumar and Saliyammal of Poolapatty.

Police mentioned the couple have been residing in an asbestos roofed house. There was once a heavy whirlwind in the village around 11pm on Wednesday.


The infant was once slumbering in a cloth cradle which was once connected to a hook used for asbestos roofing. The whirlwind blew away the asbestos sheets. The infant and the cradle have been also blown away. They fell at a distance outdoor the house.


The couple rushed the infant to Government Hospital in Karimangalam where medical doctors declared her brought useless.


The Karimangalam police registered a case.
