AIZAWL: At least nine other folks, together with 5 women, were killed and 21 others injured when a bus fell right into a gorge close to Pangzawl village in Mizoram's Lunglei district early this morning, police said.
The twist of fate came about when the bus, belonging to a private operator, was once going from Aizawl to the state's southernmost Siaha district, they said.
The car fell right into a gorge, round 500 metres, under the National Highway-54, police said.
The bus was once being pushed by the handyman (helper) as the driver was once sleeping, they said.
Police said two other folks, who were severely injured within the twist of fate, have been admitted to the Serchhip district clinic. The rest are under going remedy on the Pangzawl primary well being centre and the Haahthial community well being centre, they said.
Majority of the sufferers are from Siaha district, police said.
They said all of the our bodies have been recovered.
