BEIRUT: An air raid on a village in northeast Syria held through the Islamic State jihadist team killed no less than 10 civilians together with 3 children on Tuesday, a Britain-based observe said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the moves on Tal al-Shair within the northeastern province of Hasakeh have been performed through the US-led coalition combating IS in Syria and neighbouring Iraq since 2014.
There was no speedy confirmation from the coalition of the strike, the most recent in a chain of raids to have reportedly brought about civilian casualties within the area in previous weeks.
Tal al-Shair lies in a small pocket nonetheless held through IS warring parties near the Iraqi border within the south of Hasakeh, where a Kurdish-Arab alliance sponsored through the coalition has been fighting the jihadists in fresh days.
According to the Observatory, a coalition air strike ultimate week killed 11 civilians in the same IS-held area, and any other 12 misplaced their lives in coalition raids on June 1.
The coalition instructed AFP it was carrying out an investigation into the June 1 allegation.
