The league also saw participation of renowned avid gamers like Palpreet Singh Brar and world basketball sensations like Inderbir Singh Gill, Leandro Sauza Lima and more.
While addressing the target market, Pooja Bhatt, proprietor of the Delhi crew, stated, "It was a great opening ceremony and I am delighted to be part of it. I want to thank people from the audience for cheering for the teams." Talking about the basketball scene in India, she stated, "We need to change now and make way for the big boys in a real sense. We need to change our perspective and we need to catch up, because the world is changing at a fast pace. Bollywood and cricket shouldn't be the only source of entertainment, and I think basketball should be something to look at."
