BHUBANESWAR: The govt railway police (GRP) recovered decapitated frame of an unidentified girl from the toilet of a passenger train at Puri on Wednesday. Her severed head used to be found on railway track at Delanga, about 20 km from Puri. Prima facie, police strongly suspected she used to be brutally murdered.
“We received a choice within the early morning. The train used to be empty. The beheaded frame of the lady used to be mendacity within the train’s rest room. She can be in her 40s. Her id is being verified,” said Gagan Das, an inspector of railway coverage force (RPF).
Sources said the train used to be about to depart from platform no-8 from Puri station at around 6.30am when some passengers noticed the frame and informed the railway police. A scientific crew reached the spot to research whether or not the lady has been raped ahead of being murdered.
