ROHTAK: An elderly Dalit lady, who had long gone to fulfill chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar for redressal of her grievances, was once thrown out of his match in Jhajjar on Thursday. According to knowledge to be had, the woman, accompanied through her grandson, had long gone to complain about police state of no activity in a case.
A resident of Sheria village in Jhajjar district, she later advised media individuals that her grandson, a minor, was once sodomised through three schoolboys of a village nearby. She mentioned the circle of relatives had lodged a grievance at Beri police station and was once been trying to get the accused arrested. She accused the police of no longer taking any action within the case due to drive from the accused side.
A member of her circle of relatives spoke to TOI on phone, announcing police was once no longer arresting the accused even after registration of an FIR underneath Section 377 (unnatural offence), and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (Pocso) at Beri police station.
The circle of relatives got here to fulfill Khattar on Thursday, with the hope of redressal of their grievance, but male police officers deployed within the CM’s safety driven the sufferer’s grandmother out. They did this openly, with little care that there was once no longer a single feminine cop among them. A video of the woman being thrown out later went viral on social media, with people questioning the functioning of the police administration, and the federal government’s call for ‘Beti Padao-Beti Bachao’ campaign.
Police assets mentioned they were compelled to remove the woman from the venue, as family members intervened throughout Khattar’s speech on level, or even after requests didn't budge and saved pleading with the CM to listen to their grievance first.
Similarly, in every other such incident on the chief minister’s match at Jhajjar, a girl complained that six police officers had detained her from 6am at her space. “First, they enquired whether I wanted to fulfill the CM on Thursday in Jhajjar, and then took me to different villages in their car, and confined me in a girl’s police station,” she alleged.
She accused police of mistreating her and fighting her from assembly the chief minister who was once in Jhajjar on Thursday for the inauguration of a hall at Nehru College. On her grievances, she narrated that a guy named Deepak Kumar had married her, but later solemnised marriage again with every other lady, leaving her in deep surprise. She wanted to fulfill CM Khattar over action against the accused.
Refuting allegations of manhandling through the police, Jhajjar SSP Pankaj Nain mentioned it was once the obligation of police to maintain legislation and order state of affairs, and if somebody tries to create a ruckus, that needs to be controlled. He mentioned nobody was once manhandled through the police. He mentioned there was once protocol to be followed for assembly the chief minister, and that needs to be honoured.
