Cattle trader’s murder: Three policeman arrested

Mangaluru: The Udupi district police have arrested six extra individuals, together with 3 policemen, in connection with the alleged homicide of Hussainabba, a 62-year-old farm animals trader, near a espresso plant in Perdur on May 30. On June 1, police had arrested 4 individuals — Suresh Mendon, 43, Prasad H Kondady, 30, Rathan and Deepak Shetty — in connection with the homicide and feature remanded them in judicial custody.


Nimbargi claimed investigation has shown that participants of a saffron fringe staff had murdered Hussainabba whilst he was ferrying farm animals in a automobile. The incident took place on May 30 round 4am. The accused waylaid his automobile at Seenabettu in Perdur and later murdered him, police mentioned.
