Conman cheats 2 job aspirants of Rs 7 lakh

BENGALURU: Vidhana Soudha police are attempting to find a conman who used the Legislators’ Home premises to trap govt process aspirants and cheated two persons to the music of Rs 6.9 lakh.

The victims are Prashant and his pal Sunitha, both citizens of Hanumanthanagar, south Bengaluru.


Prashant’s sister Aparna complained to Upparpet police on May 26 that he were cheated by way of a person called Sanjaya Kiran. Cops registered a cheating case and later transferred it to Vidhana Soudha police for investigation.


Aparna alleged that she met Kiran at LH a few months ago and he claimed to have good contacts in the govt and could get jobs for anyone. She sought a First Division Assistant process for her brother and Kiran stated he’d do it. He additionally promised to get Prashant’s pal, Sunita, a job as a Second Division Assistant (SDA).


They paid Rs 70,000 money to Kiran at La the primary instalment and Rs 6.2 lakh in the second one instalment in January this yr. Neither did they get the roles nor was the cash returned. Police stated Kiran fled on studying about the police case and is absconding.
