Cop shares FaceBook post on Chief Minister, suspended

HUBBALLI: Sharing a Facebook post wondering the lengthen in waiving farm loans and significant the resignation of CM HD Kumaraswamy has landed a constable in bother. Arun Dollin of the Hubballi Town police station used to be suspended whilst an internal inquiry is conducted.

Hubballi-Dharwad police commissioner MN Nagaraj issued the orders on Tuesday following Dollin’s outburst. “Farm loan isn't waived even though it has been 18 days since the new govt used to be formed. When are you going to surrender, chief minister Kumaraswamy?” said a post shared by means of Dollin.



The suspension order said the constable had insulted the manager minister and the federal government, in spite of being a government employee. His movements amounted to indiscipline and misconduct, it said.


Soon after Dollin’s suspension, screenshots of his alleged postings on Facebook went viral on social media. Many accused him of making pro-BJP statements.
