Dubai group to support Dharavi slum redevp

MUMBAI: A Dubai-based team, MBM, will fortify Maharashtra executive's bold Dharavi slum redevelopment challenge along side different city infrastructure initiatives, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated on Sunday
Established in 2006, the MBM team is a Dubai-based royal circle of relatives place of job and investment protecting company with actions in investments, strategic advisory as well as social and community building.

A delegation led via Fadnavis left for per week long excursion of the United States of America and Canada on Saturday.

The delegation is scheduled to visit Montreal in Canada and New York, Washington and San Fransisco in america to fulfill business leaders and visit institutions to provide momentum to various infrastructure tasks and IT initiatives in Maharashtra.

The Chief Minister was once welcomed in Dubai via Navdeep Puri, India's Ambassador to UAE.

In Dubai, Fadnavis held discussions with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Juma Al Maktoum, chairman of the MBM Group.

"The chairman of MBM group has shown his willingness to support the Dharavi slum redevelopment project apart from other urban infrastructure initiatives of the state government," a free up issued via the Chief Minister's place of job said.

Fadnavis also held a meeting with Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, team chairman and CEO of DP World in Dubai.

The Chief Minister stated DP World intends to paintings with the state executive on multimodal logistics parks in Maharashtra, specifically in Nagpur for better port connectivity on G2G (executive to executive) basis.


DP World is a spouse within the Government of India's National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF).


The NIIF has partnered with DP World to create an investment platform for ports, terminals, transportation and logistics companies in India.


Fadnavis also met Thumbay Moideen, founder president of the Thumbay Group which runs a community of healthcare facilities as well as a clinical college within the Gulf.


Fadnavis stated Moideen expressed his aim to paintings as a healthcare spouse for tasks deliberate in Maharashtra and in addition supposed to enter into a proper MoU with the state executive.
