CBI going after mohalla clinics: Kejriwal

NEW DELHI: Delhi leader minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday alleged that the CBI has started investigating the mohalla clinics mission, "summoned" a number of senior officials and seized paperwork associated with it.
The leader minister made the accusation in a chain of tweets, a day after he alleged that the CBI and the Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) had started random choosing of information from the Delhi Jal Board (DJB), of which he is the minister-in-charge, to "somehow frame him in something".

"Now, CBI starts investigating moh clinics-takes 3 lac pages incl all patients prescriptions. All CDMOs, 2 Addl Dirs, Project Dir, Addl secy, OSD to Dir n many other officers summoned (sic)..," Kejriwal tweeted.

He additionally attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tweeting "Modi ji, instead of closing Delhi's mohalla clinics, open mohalla clinics across the country."

Mohalla Clinics is without doubt one of the flagship tasks of the AAP govt. There are recently around 165 mohalla clinics aimed toward offering loose primary health care to city residents closer to home.

The govt has a goal of putting in 1,000 such clinics around the nationwide capital.

In some other tweet, Kejriwal alleged, "Del govt has spent Rs three lacs to get those pages photocpied. Spl permission used to be taken through officers for this cash.

"I problem Modi ji if those Rs three lacs photocopying fees and CBI officers' wage cud be recovered out of this investigation (sic)."

In a chain of tweets on Saturday , the chief minister had introduced that he will put within the public domain the list of all information sought through the two agencies, and requested them to both provide an explanation for the rationale or else "apologise to Delhiites for this witch searching workout".
