Now I am not apprehensive about the rest," mentioned Srikanth, recently ranked 4.

"Being international number 1 again isn't the priority now and I feel more about successful the match, I do not cross right into a match to get those few points and turn out to be number 1 again, so it's about successful tournaments consistently,"

"It was once a tough choice to skip Thomas Cup. It's my physician who wanted to provide my ankles relaxation to get well as a result of I had a hectic commonwealth Games. I played about 11-12 fits in 10-11 days and I did not get any relaxation throughout the whole match. Not all of the fits have been tricky however you still needed to get ready the same for every match," he mentioned.

"You additionally must consider your frame, you'll be able to't in reality keep pushing your self blindly and sit out for a year. It came about to me when after the Olympics I had to sit out for three months. That was once actually of no use to sit out for such long time so I thought I needed to give my frame the time to get well in order that I'm in good form for the Asian Games and the World Championship."
