BELAGAVI: A 22-year-old salesman was found murdered in Nehru Nagar here on Saturday.
Police said that Ganesh alias Basavaraj Yallappa Kakati was murdered on Friday night for not giving the digicam he possessed to his pals. APMC police have taken three suspects into custody and are questioning them.
Ganesh was a local of Nelagatti in Gokak taluk and residing in 1st Cross, Nehru Nagar. His body bears stab wounds in the chest and stomach, said resources.
City police commissioner D C Rajappa visited the crime spot in conjunction with DCP Seema Latkar.
