HYDERABAD: A month after the town gained the most productive city award for cast waste management within the South underneath the Swachh Survekshan 2018 survey, streets of the pearl city percentage a special tale.
Many spaces within the city, including huge swathes of the Old City, face the similar downside of garbage strewn round everywhere.
"The garbage is thrown in every corner of the street and this is causing a lot of trouble. Roads here are quite narrow and with garbage on half of the footpath, we are forced to walk on the road." says Gulam Khan, a resident of Tolichowki.
Tank Bund, on Hussainsagar also faces the similar downside. Ramandeep, a student from the world says that GHMC cleans the world most effective a few times per week. "Since it is a tourist spot, the work here needs to be done more frequently. Often garbage falls off the GHMC truck, and they don't bother picking it up." he added.
Garbage spilled all around the road is also causing a well being danger. Students of Shri Aurobindo School speak about their troubles due to the mound of garbage dumped in front in their faculty. "We have no choice but to cross that area everyday and there are a lot of flies and insects over it. I don't like crossing it but then it is the only route to my school." said a class 9 student.
A an identical situation can also be seen close to City school, overlooking the Musi river. Jiyaguda, close to Karwaan, faces the issue of garbage broadly. Heaps of garbage provide there seem to be never finishing.
Puranapul, which once used to represent the love tale of Quli Qutub Shah, is now the breeding place for mosquitoes and pigs. People thoughtlessly throw garbage within the river. A couple of places people have a favorable reaction for GHMC officials. Denizens of Barkatpura say that their locality is blank and has no excessive waste lying at the streets.
