Guard thrashed by property dealer for objecting to drinking

GHAZIABAD: A 56-year-old guard was once thrashed with a wooden stick by means of a belongings dealer when he stopped the latter from consuming throughout the market complicated of Parsvnath Majestic Floors in Indirapuram on Sunday night time.

Around 11.30pm, when the guard,Virendra Singh, requested the 22-year-old belongings dealer, Vijay, to leave the society premises, he began asking him at hand over the keys of his two-wheeler. When Singh refused, Vijay tried to begin a battle, but the guard again requested him to leave. After this, Vijay brutally attacked Singh.


Singh sustained several blows on his head, arms and legs in the attack. Soon, Vijay’s colleagues and team of workers from the society’s maintenance agency came to his rescue.


Shailesh Ranjan Singh, director of the society’s maintenance agency, said, “Sadly, right through night time hours many belongings sellers, who've opened shops right here, brazenly drink alcohol in the market complicated. The guard had recommended them many times to not drink right here. It is learnt that Vijay was once preserving a grudge towards the guard and had tried to pick out up fights with him previously as smartly.”


An FIR has been registered towards Vijay below Section (voluntarily causing harm by means of unhealthy weapons or means) of the IPC at Indirapuram police station.
