SURAT: Police booked 4 individuals in Valsad allegedly gang-raping of a 23-year-old married lady.
The accused had been recognized as Nilesh Naika, Vijay Patel, Anand and Ajay. The lady, who has separated from her husband, used to be at her house when Naika and Patel visited her on Tuesday night time. They requested her to come alongside for some work and took her to an open flooring in the back of a faculty in Bhagdawada area.
Naika and Patel first raped her and later the other two accused arrived on the spot. Anand raped her but when Ajay tried to sexually attack the complainant, she warned them that she had already knowledgeable police and shortly police will have to be arriving on the spot. Hearing this, the accused escaped.
The lady approached police on Wednesday morning after discussing the incident along with her circle of relatives.
Police have traced locations of the accused who're hiding at other places in Valsad. Police are likely arrest them throughout the day.
