AHMEDABAD: Six individuals, together with 3 kids, drowned on Sunday in two separate incidents in Ahmedabad and Patan districts in Gujarat, police stated.
In Patan district, 3 kids drowned in a pond in Madhutra village the place they had long gone for a swim, a Santalpur taluka police station authentic stated.
In some other incident in Ahmedabad district, a lady and two youths drowned in a lake in Lambha village, an Aslali police station authentic stated.
"Five children from Madhutra village went for a swim at a pond when they started drowning. Locals rushed to save them, but three of the five had drowned by the time help reached them. Two children were saved," the authentic stated.
He stated the kids were not accompanied by means of any adult person.
The deceased are recognized as Bharat Rathod (7), Dharu Rathod (10), and Neha Rathod (9), he stated.
The rescued kids are recognized as Hitesh Parmar (14) and Arti Parmar (9), the authentic stated, adding that Hitesh was once taken to a central authority medical institution at Dharpur for remedy.
The deceased within the Lambha incident are recognized as Ayesha Saiyad (35), Ashraf Ali (17), and Lawrence Christian (15), in line with police.
