Haryana residents up in arms against enhancement notices

PANCHKULA: Hundreds of citizens from throughout Haryana protested outdoor Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) administrative center, Sector 6, against enhancement notices despatched to them.
During the protest, the citizens expressed their ache and anguish alleging that Huda didn't respond to their letters and added that in the yr 2013 that they had paid the ultimate enhancement.

They further explained that Huda had specified that they have been to pay not more enhancements after the only paid in 2013.

Residents of Trans-Ghaggar sectors 24 to 28 held candle march protests in Panchkula against the enhancement demanded by way of the Huda. The citizens who had assembled from different portions of Haryana mentioned the government is challenging enhancement further from them, which used to be no longer specified ahead of on the time of acquire of the plots.

One of the citizens, Sonia Oberoi, a resident of Sector 25, mentioned, "In the year 2013, we were told that this is the last enhancement and now they are demanding it again."

Shilpa, a resident of Sector 25, mentioned, "The demand of enhancement is not justified this time. We have paid all the enhancements that were specified at the time of the purchase of the land here. Demanding more enhancement is harassment for the general public."


Another resident, Sukhman Singh, a resident of Sector 25, mentioned, "We spend our hard-earned money to live a better life here. There is no infrastructure provided to us and yet they are demanding unnecessary enhancement."


The protesting citizens have written a letter to the Prime Minister administrative center in New Delhi citing their calls for against the enhancement notices despatched to them.
