NEW DELHI: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and three of his cupboard colleagues spent Monday night time at Raj Niwas in protest in opposition to what they referred to as the inactiveness via lieutenant governor Anil Baijal in ordering the bureaucrats to finish their four-month “strike”.
After meeting the LG, whom they accused of “sponsoring the strike”, the quartet refused to depart until their calls for were honoured.
Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain and Gopal Rai, who slept on the sofas in the waiting room at Raj Niwas, had asked Baijal to direct that every one IAS officials who did not go back to paintings would have lawsuits initiated in opposition to them and, if important, ESMA can be invoked in opposition to them.
Baijal, for his part, maintained that whilst there was once no strike, the atmosphere of mistrust between the state executive and bureaucracy continued and “no trustworthy attempts to get to the bottom of the diversities had been made to this point via AAP executive”. Baijal additionally alleged that during a meeting with the Delhi ministers on Monday night time, he was once “threatened” via Kejriwal.
