MANGALURU: The body of a labourer from Koppal used to be discovered chopped into two pieces in a drain at Chokkabettu in Surathkal on Saturday.
Police are yet to analyze the reason and suspects behind the suspected murder.
The victim has been recognized as Mariyappa, who hails from Kabbarag in Koppal. Police said Mariyappa used to be running as a day-to-day wage labourer within the city for the previous six-seven years and used to stay in labour camps.
