Lawrence Bishnoi gang member held in Hyderabad

CHANDIGARH/GURUGRAM: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Haryana Police has arrested a wanted gangster interested by over two dozen instances of homicide, kidnapping and contract killing, a police officer stated on Thursday.
Sampat Nehra, 28, belonging to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was arrested from Hyderabad on Wednesday. Cases have been registered towards him in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Chandigarh.

He also carried a money praise on his head and were absconding for the previous few years, Haryana Police stated.


The gangster, a resident of village Kalauri in Rajasthan's Churu district was a sharp shooter of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and were energetic in scholars politics.


The Lawrence Bishnoi gang is among the maximum dreaded gangs and had even threatened to kill Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan. The gang is moderately energetic on social media platforms like Facebook and Whatsapp.


Nehra and his gang have been concerned within the attempted homicide of an INLD chief's brother, demanding a ransom of Rs 3 crore from a businessman in Chandigarh, opening fireplace at a police staff to unfastened their affiliate Deepak from police custody and killing a person after looting his SUV at gun point in Kurukshetra.


Director general of police B S Sandhu congratulated the STF staff at the success.
