Ludhiana taxmen attempt world record on International Yoga Day

LUDHIANA: Officials of the Income Tax division are attempting a world document by means of appearing yoga excercises for 24 hours at the instance of International Yoga Day.

The marathon program began as clock struck 12am on Thursday. The members will do yoga in numerous batches until Friday 12am.


A large number of enthusiasm was once noticed among the I-T officers and their families as several of them registered themselves for the event at the side of their other halves and youngsters.


To make this “Yogathon” a luck, the officers, workers of the department had been practicing different yoga asanas for the past one week underneath the steering of mavens or even gazing YouTube videos.


Binay Ok Jha, the manager commissioner, said, “We are setting up this 24 hours yogathon to commemorate the International Yoga Day on 21st June. People from all walks of lifestyles including tax payers, commonplace electorate too are most welcome to sign up for this reason and follow yoga which is a confirmed approach to bust stress.”
