Man who killed teenage lover held from Raj

AHMEDABAD: City police arrested a 20-year-old guy, Govind Bhagora, from Bhilal village of Nagaur district in Rajasthan for allegedly killing his 19-year-old live-in spouse on May 2, for allegedly cheating on him.
An Isanpur police group arrested Bhagora from his paternal aunt’s home in Bhilal overdue on Monday night. He used to be brought to the city on Tuesday.

“Our group arrested Bhagora from Bhilal simply two days after the incident. On May 2, Bhagora allegedly killed his live-in spouse, Rupa, after he heard her speaking to any other guy. When Bhagora asked her about the guy, she instructed him he used to be any other boyfriend of hers. On hearing this, Bhagora threatened her to kill. She apparently instructed him that she would get a boyfriend of hers to kill him. Bhagora then were given enraged and strangled Rupa to dying. Fearing arrest, he poured kerosene on her, especially her face, and set body ablaze to ruin the proof,” said N M Patel, inspector of Isanpur police station.

Bhagora and Rupa had moved to the Isanpur house of the city just a week ago from their local village in Banswada district of Rajasthan. Bhagora used to be a day by day salary labourer and Rupa stayed at home in Isanpur.

Police registered a case underneath sections 302 (homicide) and 201 (destruction of proof) of the IPC, as Bhagora allegedly burned Rupa’s face so that she would no longer be recognized. He intended to flee while the cops had been looking to confirm her identification, said a police respectable.

Isanpur police paraded accused ‘to set an example’

After nabbing Bhagora from Rajasthan, Isanpur police paraded him in a procession through the house. We want other people to look this unhealthy accused. This used to be a heinous crime as the person burnt the face and body of the woman who he liked at one level of time.”
