NEW DELHI: Rate hike in the Federal Reserve System in US and a widening current account deficit nearer house snapped a 3-day successful run in the fairness markets on Thursday.
30-share BSE Sensex misplaced 139.34 points to close at 35,599.82 whilst the wider 50-share NSE Nifty controlled to stay above 10,800-mark regardless of dropping part a consistent with cent.
Both IT and PSU Bank sub-indices misplaced 1.five consistent with cent all over the day's business. Pharma which received 2 consistent with cent used to be the only sector to complete in the green.
Sun Pharma, Yes Bank, IndusInd Bank and Dr Reddy topped the charts.
