LUDHIANA: After “indecent footage” of an alleged extra-marital affair of 2 married fanatics went viral in their village, the duo fearing humiliation allegedly consumed poison at their respective apartments on Friday morning. As per the assets, the lady died on Friday, whilst the man breathed his last in a town sanatorium on Saturday.
The 33-year-old guy, father of 2 daughters and a son, was once allegedly curious about an extra-marital affair with a married lady residing in his neighbourhood for the last 3 years. The lady too had kids, the assets stated.
According to the Machiwara police, the married fanatics had gone off to a couple undisclosed location a few days ago without informing their respective families. The duo returned to their village two days ago and learnt that their private footage had gone viral in the village. Enraged via the photographs, their families began a battle.
Sources stated that the fanatics were underneath super pressure because of the worry of humiliation in the village and being disgraced by the hands in their respective family members.
A villager, inquiring for anonymity, stated that on Friday morning, the duo consumed poison at their respective properties. The lady was once rushed to a sanatorium in Machiwara, however died whilst present process treatment on Friday. The guy breathed his last at a Ludhiana sanatorium on Saturday morning after he was once referred there from a Machiwara sanatorium.
Police officers stated that the lady was once cremated on Friday night time without informing the police. They added that after the police won details about the demise of the man, they took charge of his frame and got the postmortem completed.
Station area officer (SHO) Machiwara police station Surinderpal Singh stated that consistent with the commentary of the deceased guy’s wife, he had an extra-marital affair with a girl and after returning home on Friday he consumed poison because of the worry of humiliation. Singh added that they have initiated inquest proceedings underneath Section 174 of CRPC into the matter.
The SHO stated that the police don't have any intimation concerning the demise of the lady, however confirmed that a lady has died in the village. “We don't seem to be acutely aware of the alleged “indecent footage” of the married fanatics getting viral,” Singh added.
